One of the best choices for a chick flick that a guy can live through is When Harry Met Sally. An oldie but goodie, it’s funny and not too terribly sappy, and features a really average guy getting the cute girl, which makes most men feel pretty good too. It also has pretty frank dialog about sex and friendships with the opposite sex, and with Billy Crystal as the love interest, it can’t help but be funny. Another oldie is Desperately Seeking Susan. It’s not a great movie, but it does feature a very young Madonna running around in slutty outfits so there isn’t much not to like. Blue Crush gives off more than enough female empowerment vibe to make the lady happy, but since it’s a movie about young female surfers there are more than enough nubile young bodies running around in bikinis to make any guy happy.

Not only will this make the lady happy, she’ll brag to all her friends about what a great guy she’s got, so there’s a night of hot sex and the opportunity to become the envy of all of her girlfriends. Schwing! It’s a great opportunity to make everybody happy, and any chick flick that isn’t unbearable for the guy will work. Pick one with a hot actress and enjoy.
