There are a lot of songs that talk about people telling too much of the truth in their sleep. This usually leads to someone finding out they really are in love with them after all, or to getting busted by a very angry husband or wife. The truth is, we for the most part can’t control what we dream and what someone says in one’s sleep is doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with literal truth. The dream state sure can be interesting, though, and might indeed give some insight that could enhance fantasy life.

The moral of the story really is that if you are a man and your partner overhears you mention a dress while you’re sleeping, they don’t need to jump to the conclusion that you’re a transvestite or cheating.
